so i have been playing with the idea of a 3sgte swap and am trying to figure out what rwd transmission will fit behind the 3sgte. The bushing kit is designed to hold the smaller diameter #AW11 manual rack in the AE86 cross-member. there are WAY too many variables, especially if you're going to use a manual trans bellhousing.

Hey guys, for those who want to keep their 6 speed I have found a place in Sydney who make an extremely strong gear set for the J160 rated at 710N-m of torque! Thats 220 Nm more then the V161 (Getrag 233) and a huge improvement on 168 - 220 Nm of the stock J160. Trans Tunnel on the auto does not have the hump required for the shifter to fit. by moving it back to the rear position I was able to line it up with the J160 using the old W58 mount.
